I’m Anaïs, a luxury manicurist and the hands behind The Sulking Room.
My work is rooted in the health of your natural nails: considered, meticulous, and made to last. As a manicurist represented by an agency, a Gel Bottle Session Artist and having worked with many other brands, I’ve created nails for campaign shoots - and that same care and precision is what you’ll sit down to at every appointment.
Why "sulking room”?
A sulking room is the old name for a boudoir - a lady’s private retreat, from the French bouder, to sulk. Having personal connections to the term, it felt like the perfect name for a room kept quiet, kept private, and kept entirely for you.
